I’m afraid so! Support for Windows 10 ends on the 14th of October 2025.

But I’m still using Windows 10, what do I do?

Don’t panic! Your computer won’t stop working overnight. In fact, you probably won’t notice any difference whatsoever to begin with.

But your computer will no longer be fully secure, no matter what security or anti-virus software you have. You could carry on using it, but we would recommend against doing any online banking or shopping or anything important and confidential, like e-mail.

So, I need to buy a new computer?

Not necessarily! Some Windows 10 computers are able to run Windows 11.

If you’re unsure whether yours can, bring it in to either of our stores, leave it with us, and we’ll be able to run some tests and let you know.

If your Windows 10 machine is compatible with Windows 11, we can perform the switchover for you!

What if my computer isn’t compatible with Windows 11?

If your computer isn’t able to run Windows 11 then it may be time to replace it with a new one.

But new computers are so fast now compared to the old ones, you’ll wish you’d taken the plunge sooner!
